There are a lot of big name vacancies this year that SMU has to contend with:
Nebraska - Callahan out
Texas A&M - Fran out
Ole Miss - Orgeron out
Michigan - Carr out
Baylor - Morriss out
Duke - Ted Roof out
Colorado State - Lubick out
Look for these firings in the coming days and weeks - Nutt at Arkansas, Karl Dorrell at UCLA, Gailey at GT, Robinson at Cuse.
SMU would do well to get Fran although I personally loathe him. I think Christensen may get better offers than SMU but he could be a contender. Solich maybe too.

Actually what he said were in the end there will be fewer vacancies than people expect. And not a single school on that list comes as a surprise or unexpected. Except for maybe Ole Miss as Oregon has only been there for three seasons.
"And again, I keep telling people, there won’t be as many openings as people think."

Oh my God. We are getting Gailey from GT? Knows Dallas, lived in Dallas, can hire good assistants, pipeline to the NFL. Was Gailey and Orsini with the Cowboys at the same time?

I believe I said there would be fewer changes than last year. So, if there are less than 23, that makes you a [deleted] bag.

Nahh, light weight - Stlhockey got the quote right there for you. And like he said - "Whatever makes you feel better." Keep getting those scoops! (_*_)

And what exactly are you getting?
Reads from lava lamps and visits to the Great Sandora?
Interpreting coaching rumor mill web sites?
You know for someone who went after some of us for having a bunch of posts, I must say you've done pretty nice work for being registered for less than a month.
I also find it interesting that you started this agenda on join date Oct. 30, three days after Bennett was fired. Interesting.
But you have fun driving your Benz wherever you go with it -- shallow.

We are not getting Chan. If he is done at GT, he will go back to the NFL.

So I'm that for quoting you and actually believing a lot of opinions you have. Awesome.

When does this all happen? I thought we had someone locked up but Orsini said they were going to be patient, take their time and get the best guy possible. Is a Monday press conference not in the cards anymore?

You are right, my credibility is forever shattered. How will I ever cope?
