There aren't going to be any conference upsets by this team this year if they don't get it together and start beating the Cupcake U's on their schedule.

Not good when no one even pretends it was a ballgame.

we have no choice but to adopt the JT mantra...no expectations for this team.

82-57? I know we were somewhere in Ohio. Did Lebron suit up for the home team? just wow. Beat Paul Quinn! Whoever he is.

One of LeBron's high school teammates did, Marcus Johnson of UD played with Lebron at St. Vincents-St. Mary's.

This was actually the team's best performance this year. I know that's incredibly pitiful when you get beat by 25, but it was a much better effort than the Centenary atrocity, and Dayton is the best team on our non-conference schedule. There were still plenty of mistakes and way, way too many dunks and easy baskets under the hoop, but there were also some periods of solid defense and our shooters knocked down some perimeter shots when they were open.

Officiall attendance was 12,245, which is about average for a Dayton game. Their gym holds 13.455, and it was pretty close to packed. My seats were at mid-court, but up in the rafters. They also stopped selling beer early in the 2nd half, which was a bitter dissapointment.

yup. but apparently the taps get cut off about 7-8 minutes into the 2nd half. The vendors say the decision is up to the fire marshall, and they have no control over it. One minute they're pouring a cold one, next the tap is dry.

It;s a huge gym, a real barn, and they apparently have concession deals with several fast food restaraunts, you can get Arby's sandwiches and Domino's pizza, etc. inside the gym. Their concessions were similar to what's offered at the AAC. It was better to get the brand name merchandise, because their generic stuff, hot dogs and nacho's etc., kind of sucked.
