From what I have been told the announcement could even come earlier then my prediction of Tuesday. The contract has been signed. The only thing holding up the announcement is the gathering of former Ponys to make a banner press conference. So expect a leak in the next 24 hours. GO PONYS!

It's a win/win for both parties.

Heck Bowden will be able to compete in CUSA.

SMU was in so many close games this year......it's not like we were getting blown out.

Bowden will be the hero and SMU will be competitive again.

If Bowden leaves after a few years we will have regained respect as a pretty good place to be.
