My sources say Houston Nutt is going to Ole Miss!
I still say Georgia Tech. It should be announced (where ever) today.

Thanks ponyte for the response
Actually Baylor had the first black football player: we had the first black scholarship football player. I thought the subject was coaches anyway.

We had 2 black BB coaches. Are we twice as good as A&M now?

Then it would stand to reason that we hire both Franchiones as coaches.

No doubt but he sure did a masterful job of getting them to "pony up" some good buy out change.

There is no doubt that Nutt has maneuvered masterfully through the Arkansas deal. Remember when Nutt used the Nebraska opening to seal a better deal? And Nutts agent has consistently frustrated Broyles. And since all this was well orchestrated, it begs the question. Did Nutt know that he would be the Ole Miss coach when Ark played Ole Miss? Talk about sweet irony.

Ole Miss is a done deal.

I have noted this in other threads and still feel it is an attempt to discredit my wealth of insider information.

Fair question. Just for the record, Morgan Freeman is the voice of their current ad campaign...and I think the prefer to be called the University of Mississippi.

i don't even understand how an obligatory interview with a black coach even goes if you already know who you are going to hire.
"Well, basically we just brought you here because you were black. We are being less racist by including you, a black person, in our interview process. Thanks for being black so we could interview you although we already have filled the position. Perhaps we'll 'interview' you in a few more years when we are looking for another coach."
