Good god, kids, take a deep breath. This is really tragic. One of the Redskins officials was quoted as saying this was "an intentional attack" if I remember right. Whatever the reason, there are many who think he was the best in the league at his position, and this is a young man who left a fiancee and daughter to go on without him. Stop the petty squabbling and try to maintain a little perspective here. My heart goes out to his fiancee, his daughter and his family.
A daughter will grow up without a father, friends will have to try and focus on their jobs as football players and coaches while grieving, a father will have lost his son, this is a true tragedy. And yeah, it smells a lot like an assassination rather than a burglary. Cut the phone lines, went straight to the bedroom, shot first, and left without taking anything. Luckily Florida has the death penalty (if the Supreme Court doesn't outlaw the needle) and whoever did this will get his, if he lasts that long. Given that he was a cop's son, and that every gang member in DC are huge Redskins fans, believe it or not, whoever did this will have a bullseye on their back.
Everyone needs to cool it a bit. He's dead. It's very tragic for all of those that he left behind. Noone is laughing, nor should they be. But noone on this board was a part of his life or he theirs so quick acting like he was your best friend.
