or how about the morning news?
someone needs to remind them that SMU is the alma mater of the Dallas business elite....
Actually, I think we pay them to broadcast our games rather than the other way around so I wouldn't call them a flagship station...............

From inside the athletic department, no announcement today. Probably not this week. ESPN.com is reporting that Nutt has reached an agreement with Ole Miss.
I really shouldn't drink and type.

You're right, we do pay them. Therefore, they should be REQUIRED to treat us better. There's absolutely no reason those mental midgets should cheerlead for us, but there should be a station policy that says you don't bash us if we're paying you. Will never listen to that crap station again except during SMU road games.

Not a chance. There are more paper-buying Aggies in Dallas than there are Mustangs, and more paper-buying Horns than Mustangs -- such is the case with schools that large. The DMN (and virtually every other newspaper) is in the business of selling papers, not reporting news. By the same token, ESPN talks Cowboys and Patriots 95 percent of the time because they have more fans, and it's all about ratings. Translation: money rules that industry, too, and the idealistic notion of "covering news accurately and without bias" is a thing of the distant past.

Are you kidding. They are the Cowboys' flagship and that has never stopped them from ripping them.

I got a similar update from my guy in the athletic dept. Might even be after bowl games are played.

I'll have to get the system admin to block PonyFans.com if this is going to linger into January.

More like an aberration of the days of Walter Cronkite.
The donkey's name is Kiki.
On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?

are you serious? the ticket has been sucking up to the Cowboys since training camp and even last year.
remember this drop in the ticket promos....
"we don't sit in the owner's back pocket" - well thats a pile of BS now.
and be sure to listen to the "ultimate mental midget donnie do" and norm after each game? norm blows up on most callers that have anything negative to say about the cowboys..."no, no, no, no, no....."
and now craig is scared of the cowboys front office since Jerry told him to "cut that crap" last january....craig was definitely humbled that day.

Regarding the ticket, we are lucky Rich Phillips is the ticker guy in the morning. He at least slips in a few updates regarding the ponies, otherwise, we would get as much coverage as UTA...........

To confirm, purpose of today's team meeting: Coaches are gone, but you are still here. You need to go to class. You need to make your grades. You need to keep your nose clean. We are watching you.

"No, no, no, no, no..." came in response to someone who suggested Wade Phillips should be fired. They were 8-1 at the time. I think that's pretty ridiculous too.
They are not in the owner's back pocket. They still have fake Jerry, fake Wade and the entire season last year they were kicking Parcells in the teeth. My guess is you don't like the Ticket so you are spewing the line that everyone who hates them spews.
