Great quote from The Parliament (the Rice message board)...

"I never give them hell. I just tell the truth and they think it's hell."

-- Harry S Truman

And a letter from the Director of the MOB...

All Tulsa Fans should realize that this was Todd Graham's first return visit to Rice. After the way he left here, he deserved a "public flogging."

I would have performed today's show even if Todd Graham had been standing in front of me the entire time -- so firmly do I believe that it was not "over the line." And had he been standing there, I firmly believe that Graham would have "taken it like a man" (and laughed at the surprisingly ridiculous "your mom" joke).

It's a pity that more people cannot "take it" in the same spirit. But don't worry...we're done with you (and him) now. By next year, we'll be concentrating on ridiculous politicians or re-enacting an epic pirates vs. ninjas battle.

Thanks,
Chuck Throckmorton
Director of Bands

Pirates vs. Ninjas....how sad. I'm still waiting for them to do a Dungeons and Dragons or Harry Potter show.

Ugh. If they do, I bet I could get half the guys at work to show up for that crap. Nothing worse than hearing geeks talk about WoW.

Here's one of my favorite YTMNDs about WoW.

I'll bet you the Rice Band gets a substantial sanction too. They went over the line-and I've posted some historical Rice MOB stories over the years. I've been a fan but I can see using the term [deleted] went a couple of steps over the line.

I think what we're seeing here is a generational difference in the understanding of the term "[deleted]". To people in their 20's it's on level of "jerk" and "stupid head". It appears to be much more serious to you old folks.
