It is also not possible that TAMU would allow him to recruit on behalf of a prospective employer. Talk about breach of contract, there wouldn't be any better reason to claim breach, fire the guy, and pay no buyout.

If you think he didnt have future staff memebers recruiting the last three weeks....then you prove your ignorance. Since Stallion and his buddy seem to believe nothing I type, I am done! I guess I am just full of it and enjoy typing!! LOL Anyways to answer your question, here is exactly what he is saying, "Coach Wilson, I am about to take the SMU job. First, I want to offer you a position on my staff. Secondly, if you are not intrested, I want to tell you how much WE need Carter athletes to make this work. I want to build a program thet your athletes are proud to play for. I want to see your kids play for a winner in front of their mothers and grandmothers. We can do this, that is not the question. But I need yor help. I know I wont get your five star kids, but if I get a fw athletes from you every year WE will win. If there is anything I can do for Carter High School, let me know."

There is nothing that prevents a college coach from speaking to HS coaches.
At this point, it may be fair to say that bigbag and herewegoagain have credible information BUT from different sources. Anyone ever think of that?

Can't we all agree that if he is making these kinds of calls to several coaches then there is bound to be a leak?

If there is a lot of behind the scenes work, then coaches are pretty good at telling something they only want you to know. So if they have been told to keep this quiet, they usually will.
And it is not unprecedented for a coach about to take a job and contact several area high school coaches to get a read as to how the school relates to their athletes and so on.
I think it happens a lot more than people know. Call it the underworld of the coaching profession. It exists.

I say the leak is right here on ponyfans by way of herewegoagin. Everthing this person has said has happened. Fran's buyout deal for example. The week after herewegoagin first posted this info. A&M's athletic director said he would wait until the end of the season to make a decision and that obviously wasnt true. herewegoagin called it well before the end of the UT game.
You guys don't believe it because we've had so many fake posters come through lately.

I can't say herewegoagin is not some sort of leak. And I hope he is right - not so much about Fran - but that our program is not rudderless and Orisini knows what he is doing.

Herewegoagin obviously knows Fran and is deeply involved in college football. Everthing he has said has been proved right. Eeerily right. Only someone inside could have predicted all that he has. Yes everyone knew Fran was gone 4 weeks ago but to have predicted the rest is uncanny.
Fran come help us! Bring recruits so Stallion's model may be realized. Please.

OK Nacho I'm telling you every big Aggie fan and many SMU fans knew about the Franchione's buy out about 2-3 weeks ago. Perhaps you are out of the loop. I heard it from about 6 SMU fans myself. What was the secret?
