I think in order to have a meaningful discussion about the library, we have to differentiate between the library whcih would have some SMU control, and the "policy institute" which would not. Speaking as something of a naysayer, I object not to the library, but to the policy institute, as it will be a Dubya cheerleading camp controlled by Dubya people, on the campus of a private university whose mission ought to be unrestrained political discourse.
