You sure you're not a Baylor Boy? There was nothing in that program you don't hear on prime time TV every day. God knows you can't watch for 5 minutes without a barrage of feminine hygiene and erectile dysfunction products.

You make a very good point. Not sure I'd go as far as jailtime for them, but agree that there is no place for this at a football game.

I'd be willing to bet either the Band Director will get fired or the band and director will be suspended from "marching" in multiple games. They crossed the line. Calling a Head Coach a [deleted] in a public place including kids is going to have some consequences. Sad part is that it isn't even funny or clever in any way.

Agreed completely.

This is silly. What was lewd? The word 'hell' that your young children probably hear about in church every sunday, or the word "[deleted]" that they hear commonly at elementary school?

When your 7-year-old calls one of his/her classmates a "[deleted]" and then asks "what the hell is the problem?", you can explain to the teacher/principal/child's parents that it's all good because it's just something funny that your child picked up at a Rice halftime show.
And if the teacher/principal/parents have a problem with it, just call THEM a "douchbag". In front of your 7-year-old. Just to reenforce that everything's fine.

I totally agree. Just got back from Virgin Records with an Eddie Murphy Raw DVD for my 5 year-old girl's stocking.
