Start Cheating Again
Enough losing. Let's cheat again. I've got $10 per position. Anyone else going to pony up?
Let's get real...The only way to compete is to do what TCU and everyone else is doing...
Bid's for starting quarterbacks worth a damn start at $50k...

Thank god you're not making any decisions that matter to the university.

I do. Shut up and quit posting stuff about paying players on a public message board. I would not even THINK about tempting the NCAA on this one unless we were a large land-grant university.

Re: Start Cheating Again
It is really sad to see how pathetic the team has gotten. Why is it worse than a few years ago?
Even worse, the kids in school these days are soo pathetic. Would rather wear their belly shirts than support the team. I was in school directly after the death penalty and didn't miss a game. Had two players as suite mates. Was a big time fan.
So bad that the school has promotions with Crayola to get kids to the games. Yeah, great, in 15 years these 1st graders might want to go to SMU...Course by then we'll have been in 3 more conferences...
Don't tell me to be patient. Bull****.
Its time to get serious about winning, or give it up and move to DII.

Listen cupcake, go back to practicing your flute, and leave the sports to the men.
Don't tell me every other school isn't doing it..Tell our friends at the NCAA to investigate any top 10 program, starting with OU.

Hey dip****! People like us who go to every game know probably more about this school and it's history than you do. And we know that loose lips sink ships. It's people like you who JOKED about that fact that probably got the NCAA on our [deleted] in the first place. What we REALLY DON'T NEED is an investigation, even though it would come up empty.
Paying players is the wrong idea. I think lowering our allready lofty standards to get players here could help. Bennett has allready headed down that road, and maybe we'll be better in the future. I just don't know anymore

Enough with the name calling, sissy. Maybe we should start paying the band members!
What would the NC2A say 'bout that?

OK, I need to chill out, I took your first post too seriously.
I am just real sensitive on the whole paying players thing.

Re: Start Cheating Again
First, no other university in the US is cheating. All programs learned their lesson after the NCAA went after Alabama and ND for their violations. Now look at Alabama, They cannot have mixers with soroity girls for a whole semesterfor crying out loud! And ND had to quit polishing the dome for a whole week! And Arkansas spent an entire week on the NCAA penalty of teaching at least 90% of the team members the correct spelling of A-R-K-A-N-S-A-S.
With tough penalties like that, nobody would dare cheat.

Re: Start Cheating Again
I was somewhat heartened that our friends at Fresno got a wrist slap. I thought for sure that the NCAA brownshirts would smack them much harder. That is one of the few times that the NCAA has cut a break to a mid-major program. Of course with some of the other cases pending it would have been hard to whack Fresno and not whack Georgia or Baylor (whose basketball program is death penalty eligible). However, the NCAA seems to have a big stiffie when it comes to the Mustangs and most of us don't want to see us even tempt fate.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

I don't know about paying our players, but I was offering the Boise players money in the second half to take a safety. No takers unfortunately.
