Is Stephen F. Austin any good? I know they used to be nationally ranked and would kick a lot of tail all over the state. I looked on-line and their record is under .500, but what's their actual talent like? Are we going to make it five in a row tonight?

We won down there last year by about 8-10 points. They should contend for the SLC title with UTA. UTA is probably the class of the conference.

This isn't the SFA program that used to be the power when Royce Chadwich, Joe (?), and Gary Blair were there. The expansion of women's basketball has really taken off. More schools are investing $$ in it.

That's why the old powers like SFA and La. Tech -- both in weaker conferences -- can't compete like they used to. La. Tech couldn't even stay on the floor against Tennessee on Monday.

SFA isnt a national power anymore, but they are still a competitive program. They won 20 games last year, but lost the Southland title to UTA. This year they are VERY young, 6 freshmen and only 1 senior. A freshmen is their leading scorer, and 2 other frosh start for them. This is going to be a tough year for SFA, but they have good young talent to build on.

SFA also has alot of players from the Dallas area, they should bring a good crowd.
Try not to choke on the Kool-Aid.
