...in the blue seats in Moody tonight? Looked like a few conversations of more than just "hey, so and so...good to see you...Pony Up! and Top 25 to ya..."
I had to look over my shoulder and to the left, so I didn't want to be rude and...stare...and/or try to listen in or read lips.
Oh yeah, Morstead looked like he was limping when he went out to midcourt at halftime. Maybe he was just doing squats earlier, I don't know...but he needs to protect that leg.

We didn't think to look for him until the second period and didn't see him anywhere. Did you notice if he left game after halftime?

I didn't see him after about 8 minutes into the 2nd half

He came by and seemed pretty confident with himself. Didn't say much about football but sure didn't seem worried about anything

He left a few minutes before the end of the game, he was smiling and seemed very relaxed . Certainly didn't have the demeanor of someone who had a football hiring problem.
The gnashing of teeth on this board is actually pretty humorous, but everyone just needs to be thankful that Orsini is in charge and not his predesessor.

So $9 to $10 million won't cover it? If you're going to pay what we are rumored to pay $1.2-$1.5 (?), your coordinators need to make about $200,000.

The info I got was that the coach or coaches we are after are all comfortable in their current situation, whatever that means, and that more money is needed to get them and the coordinators that they want to bring. Some heavy hitters are being smoozed to "pony up" some more cash.........
Whoever we get, it excites me that we are at least entering the "game" in terms of coaches' salaries. I wouldn't think we would be making this kind of investment only to keep the coach's hands tied with academic and administrative restraints.....Maybe Mr. Simmons donation for the School of Education is going to spawn some friendly majors - and soon........

I saw two or three "heavy hitters" who seemed to be having pleasant conversations w/ Steve-O, so that's also a plus. At least they didn't sneak down the tunnel when they saw him approach.

Did they have their checkbooks out? Giving him credit cards numbers?
