Might be a waste of a thread but i heard somewhere that Mike Price will return to Wash St. since they fired Doba...
If there is a job openning in El Paso...is it a better openning than the one at SMU?

Re: UTEP opening?
Same issue as SMU job vs. Houston job. I guess the issue would come down to intangibles (i.e. the Mrs.). IMHO, the Galleria/Westheimer and/or North Dallas vs. Juarez. I don't know how shopping, schools, and quality of life compare since the only times I have been in El Paso I have been driving for 12 hours and not really in the mood to appreciate it. "Moderation in all things, and especially in Absoluts [vodka]." The Benediction, Doc Breeden, circa 1992
would have been kind of tough after he went there..............
Yeah I am sure you didn't understand that I meant instead of letting him go to UTEP.
sure he hasnt done anything at UTEP but Washington state really hasnt done anything since he left
I did, just giving you a hard time, no offense, all the rumor talk starting to break me down..................
I've met several professionals from El Paso, mostly when I lived in McAllen. Every one of them said if they were to pick a border town to live in, they'd prefer McAllen to El Paso.
So if McAllen > El Paso, no question Dallas would have to be the better situation to El Paso. That being said, UTEP is also absent of academic standards, and one has the lure of all that Juarez provides when recruiting impressionable 17 and 18 year olds. NTTAWWT.
