seriously...if Orsini has raised $10mil then what kinda of contract could we offer someone? does anyone think a couple million per year?

Depends on the contract length. We'll also have to pay assistants with that $10 million.

i wonder if they would still be able to use the currently allocated salaries from the Ath Dept on top of the 10mill.

Would we? If the $10mm is outside funds, wouldn't you just pay them with the SMU funds budgeted to pay Bennett and staff?

I am glad to see that Orsini is taking this hire seriously and working through the process. Unlike many in the Mustang nation, it is more important to hire Mr. Right instead of Mr. Right-now.

You've criticized Orsini in the past for saying something without saying anything at all. Are you now not able to realize that this statement from him is a euphemistic way of saying "We are going to get the scraps from the table, but we hope they are nice scraps."...?
