Crosstown Rivals wrote:Word on the street this morning is Johnson is your new coach, barring some last minute hitch. If so, great hire!

on what "street"....please advise...

University? Rosedale?

probably Amesbury in the "village"....

Oops. I was referring to those streets in FW, given the Crosstown Rivals screen name. When I gave friends my address in college and told them I lived on Rosedale, I got some strange looks. The one in FW is a far cry from University Park.

I hope it's not Hulen. You can't move anywhere on that street.

Bryant Irvin either. Hmmm. If the word is on Berry Street, I recommend Fuzzy's Tacos.

Actually, that construction on Rosedale is finished. They did a pretty good job with it.

But I just tried a burger at Dutch Meyers on Tuesday night. 1/2-price night. Not bad.

The construction on Rosedale nearly did me in. It took forever to get anywhere in the Hospital District from our house.

Dutch's is pretty good. 1/2 price makes it even better. Usually we hit Tommy's on Camp Bowie on Tuesdays...kids eat free with adult burgers. Hubby said Red Cactus (same strip as Dutch's) is pretty good. Thank goodness they finally got some restaurants reopened there.

I actually rather enjoy the Ugly Pug. Not my all-time favorite, but it is good. Although yes, everything tastes better when it is free!

I will come clean. I am a beer snob. The Pug is okay, but I really prefer German brews.
