Most bizarre part of the story:

"Taylor grabbed a machete he keeps in the bedroom for protection"

I have a shotgun in my closet. I know where the shells are too. But a machete? With an 18-month-old in the house? Holy crap.

Brokeback Mountain" is not just a movie. It's also what I call the pile of dead ninjas in my front yard.

Not when it is where they can't get to it. And the shells are kept in a different spot entirely. I grew up around guns. I was more afraid of what my dad would do to me if I touched them than what the gun would do.

A huge knife is way more dangerous.
