Anytime anyone gets a new boss, there is anxiety and change. It's called life. You either like the new boss and the way things are done, or you don't. If you like the new style, great. If you don't, it's a free country and you can work elsewhere.
Change is not inherently bad. Change is a part of life.
This is a good learning experience for these young men who put on the pads every Saturday to represent all of us.

A change is what they hope for from 1-11 and they want to be a part of something special at SMU. So let's be gracious to the men that put on the uniform. It's not about the paychek for them.
Yes they strapped it up and so did I. And if I were them I would be spending my time in the classroom and the weight room trying to figure out how to get a 2nd win rather than whether or not USC might pick me up if I leave. It is called growing up and facing life kind of like it is in the real world. This can be a great learning experience for them and I hope they all take advantage of it to the fullest.

He was raised bettet than that. You finish what you start, even if it means giving your right arm. He was taught that once you make a committment to something, you live up to your committment. You should have seen that in the way he played JT?

I have never ever questioned his effort. I don't really question the effort of any of the players, for that matter.

You should, because the effort of some leave a lot to be desired. Talk to Vic about the effort of some. We had several players leave once Vic got here. Could not stand his determination to make them better, and Vic should know about determination.

I'm not into bashing individual players for their effort, so feel free to do it for me. Collectively, however, I think the results show a far lower talent base than our typical opponent.
