If you were the BIG O

Postby expony18 » Sat Dec 01, 2007 2:00 am

please list your top 4 as of right now (and must be realistic)... FOUR candidates for the Job. Now that jobs are being filled faster then a game winning drive against smu, we are becoming more limited to who we can hire. so rank in order of who you think the Big O wants... i'll go first... that's what she said

1. Paul Johnson
- wants him bad, probably can't get him because he can go better places

2. Rick Neuheisel
-Is a WOW, but probably can go somewhere better, is 1.5 enough to lure him to a low level D1

3. Fran
-Emailgate, Probably would say yes for $1.5, what won't he do for money. Probably will jump ship at first new job offer, still a WOW!

4. Bowden
-Last resort WOW. He's been out of coaching for awhile.

*and so the BCA will not be mad; TY willingham, who I would actually put in my top three with Apple/Bowden

I have serious doubts about Fran coaching anywhere next year. Read the letter of reprimand that A&M's AD put in his personnel file (media got it through the Open Records Act). Repeated violations concerning information on unsigned recruits. Coaches are not allowed to comment on recruits before signing, the information he was giving out to his email boosters was blatantly over the line. Each email constitutes a seperate violation, demonstrating a pattern of willful and deliberate disregard for the rule. From what I understand the specific rule was even mentioned in the newsletter more than once, he knew he was breaking it. The NCAA is going to be following Fran whever he goes, and I would wager that most schools wouldnt think about touching him, for awhile. He'll be censured at least, and I wouldnt be surprised if the NCAA suggests to him that he should take a sabbatical.
Try not to choke on the Kool-Aid.

Who is Gil Turner? If you mean Turner Gill, why in God's name would he be considered? PLEASE will someone tell me what puts him on a list with these other 4 coaches as qualified. stats, or something.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally
