huge possibility but we might get to see a match up that was given a no go this year: USC vs. Hawaii in the Rose Bowl
thats only if LSU is not in the title game because UGA will get the Sugar Bowl Pick if LSU doesnt play there

will Hawaii's comeback win cause Washington to oust Ty Willingham? Will he suddenly become available to those of us still looking for a coach???

His name has been "in play" since the rumors began. It is just that when it became Kragthorpe for sure and then Fran for sure and then Johnson for sure, Willingham kind of got left out of the conversation.

the poor ole much maligned WAC(the conference not the teams) once again refuses to die. Its been like this for years. BYU wins a National Championship. The Big schools start to monopolize College Football BYU goes 15-1 and goes to the Cotton Bowl and beats a damn good Kansas St team just after the Big 12 carves up Texas territory. HaHaHa. Wyoming gets in the Top 10.
Then the mountain schools break off and doom and gloom is predicted but TCU, Boise St., Fresno St. and Hawaii emerge into Top 20 teams.
Then the western schools join CUSA and the BCS tries to lock out non-BCS conferences but Boise St crashes the party and miraculously beats OU in the Fiesta Bowl. Now Hawaii goes undefeated and makes the Sugar Bowl.
People have been predicting the death of the WAC for years. When can we expect to see a CUSA team achieve anything like the WAC Conference. It really must [deleted] the MWC off that they keep getting upstaged by the red-headed step-child. The biggest mistake the MWC made was failing to kill the WAC when it had a chance by going to 12 teams.
I guess it is a positive now that non-BCS schools Utah, Boise St. and Hawaii have now crashed the party showing that there is an opportunity for a non-BCS school to reach the Big Stage-just don't lose a game.

Brennan - 442 yds passing, 5 TD's, No INT's. All they do is pass, but this kid is pretty amazing...
Jason Rivers, 167 yds rec. 4 TD's.
Go Hawaii, beat the BCS!

I have relatives on Kauai and Oahu and they said the entire state is going absolutely crazy for Hawaii football right now. Seems pretty amusing to me considering how the state's main sport is (by far) surfing...
GO MUSTANGS!
FIGHT ON!
