You mean in the state of Louisiana. They have that rule where they can't travel over 300 miles. That's why they have 8 home games and they never play a big non-conference opponent on the road. Played Virginia Tech at home this year. Next year you would expect they play at Virginia Tech--Nope, the 300 mile rule.

They've played Arizona St and Oregon State away over the last few years.

Oregon State was a home game for them

Yeah, you're right. Got it mixed up with Va Tech. Oregon State was here. Poured down raining. I was in Dallas watching SMU that weekend.

They played Arizona State away due to Hurricane Katrina. No dis-respect to LSU but I would like them to travel away to the schools they play at home. I have been to Tiger stadium and it is nearly impossible for them to lose at home. Atmosphere is fantastic.

I have never been, is it similar to the home field advantage SMU enjoys at Ford Stadium?

thanks. you just made it clear that LSU DOESNT NOT have a strong OOC schedule especially when it comes to road games...in their mind though, their SEC schedule makes up for those cupcakes they eat...i mean play

LSU beat the No. 3 (OOC) team (Virginia Tech) by 41 POINTS. Sheesh!

Georgia might be playing better then anyone right now. They are loaded on offense. Hawaii/Gergia will be a blast to watch.

I bet the combined score is 150 points. Hawaii does not have the strength to stop Georgia's offense and Hawaii will throw the ball all over the place.

This year's game vs. Va Tech at home was the second half of a home and home that started with an LSU loss in Blacksburg the year before their last nat'l title. That season ended with a loss to Texas in the Cotton Bowl.

The year of LSU's nat'l title, they played Arizona on the road.

I actually gave that some thought. They should be kicking themselves over that 16-12 to South Carolina in September.
