this team has clearly quit on itself. I think Bennett recognizes it and decided mid-game today to put the redshirt back on Phillips. I was a proponent of playing him, now I see no point with this group. I also will say that this was one pitifully managed game today, whether that is because of qbs unprepared or what, we've hit another low point.

Bad news for you Hoop Fan. This is game #8, there is no such thing as putting a redshirt back on this late in the season.

Honestly, there is no such thing as putting a redshirt back on. If you play, the regular redshirt is gone. Massey played early on and they are getting a medical redshirt for him, supposedly because his ankle was hurt so bad. Strange that he still dresses out for every game, that ankle must be a tricky thing.

This has become a complete mess - what the heck is going on? What the hell is Bennet doing/thinking? He is a control freak without a plan? He is going to be 0-12 no doubt. WE SUCK and are the worst team in Div 1 hands down.

Our only real chance is against Rice but I wouldn't put money on it. We didn't beat them last year and we are worse this year. Rice barely lost to Fresno yesterday. Does 1-11 sound that much better than 0-12? Does anyone seriously think we can beat Fresno, La Tech in Ruston or TCU? Man, this is bad.

TCU game - UGH. What a shootout last night...I watched the first quarter - everytime I looked up at TV in the bar, there was another touchdown on both sides ...it was crazy.

There is no doubt in my mind that Bennett is a great football mind. He knows the game inside out. What I feel he could do to improve the team is to surround himself with people smarter than him and then delegate. He is simply trying to do too much, and we fail to be able to tap into his great knowledge.
