yeah a guy wins a bunch of bowls, finishes in the top 5 in the country, wins the Pac 10.....and it's all luck...wonder why when some guys take over other people's players they dont win so many bowls if it's all that easy?...I am sure thats why he is currently an offensive cooridnator in the NFL......do you know how many people would die to be an OC in the NFL?.......yeah the experts in the NFL must agree he is an idiot.....LOL
Some coaches are great coordinators or assistant coaches but terrible head coaches--look at Bennet!....And Bill Callahan, and Chan Gailey, and Frank Solich, and Charlie Weis, and almost every other failed head coach over the years. Being the head coach requires the ability to recruit and motivate your players too, not just the x's and o's. A coach with a decent football mind can put good players into the system and make it work for a couple of years, but unless they can recruit and get their players to work hard (on the field and during the off-season,) they don't work out. Besides, the Ravens offense hasn't been too sweet since he showed up....I think this is not a coincidence. Although, he certainly couldn't make SMU any worse!
In any case, this is a stupid argument. He's not on the plane. He is busy losing to the Patriots tonight.
You guys on your way to the airport yet?

Brian Estridge on Galloway's show just made mention of the plane in the air. Of course Galloway had to make a snide wishbone comment.

Thad,
I agree. They picked someone up, dropped somone off or both. An hour or so on the ground is about right. They could do a quick turn in 20 mins. but I am assuming that someone on the plane went up there and is coming back too. They probably wanted to hit the head and stretch their legs. If this whole thing is what we think it is, then there was hand shaking and what not too. Fuel + catering + passengers + pilot checking weather and flight plan = an hour or so.

re: ....at both Colorado and Washington. Got fired from both jobs after he drove them into the ground.
By the way Rick Neuheisal was not fired from Colorado.
The University of Washington lured him away with an offer he could not refuse.
He was indeed fired at Washington for an off field reason that was later found to be incorrect and he was cleared of wrongdoing. The NCAA and University of Washington were forced to pay Coach Neuheisal 4.5 million dollars.
