Thats what this board is, an opinion board. Everybody on this board is stating their opinions except you obviously! If my opinions bother you that much maybe you need to take a look at what I am saying. If its garbage let it go, move on. But you know I speak the truth. I have been on this board longer than what you realize 91. My ties to SMU run deeper than what you know. What are your ties?

There are ten or more people who post on this site daily that know my ties. But, unlike you I'll be happy answer what they are? As a child, my dad took me to my first SMU game in the early 70's at the Cotton Bowl, followed up my more than I can count. Went to games Texas Stadium while in High School. Was recruited and could have gone to most of the SWC schools but chose SMU because I was a fan and knew I would have a great education. I'm a Letterman's member, Mustang Club member, have six football season tickets and four basketball season tickets, I send the Mustang Club a check every month and support Ponyfans by advertising my company. Is that enough ties for you. So again what are your ties? How deep do they run? Or do you have no ties except being Big Daddy on Ponyfans spouting off negative puke.

Um, those ties are strong enough for me. Say what you want.

Oh gee I see we have a new "Thought policeman" on here. Who the hell are you to claim that someone has to post positive posts on ponyfans. Were you positive about Phil Bennett? or are just one of these Mustang Club Cheerleaders like General Abandon the Ship that wants to dictate when to cheer or when to pour it on the latest Moron Coach who ran the school into the ground. Get over it. If any fan of any school in the country has a right to [deleted] on a fan forun then it is SMU fans. Get used to it. This program has arguably accomplished less in the last 20 years than any program in America. I know I'm not going anywhere. Big Daddy Give 'em Hell. most of these Dudley-Do-Right Cheerleaders are the biggest phonies on the board and will turn on SMU when things go bad. Hey bigdaddy didn't turn on Phil Bennett-you know the Head Coach of our team this year like 98% of the phonies on here. Its an Open Forum not the SMU Cheerleaders Forum.

I'm all about [deleted] Stallion. God and wife knows I've done my fair share the last 20 years. Big Daddy spouts negative puke all day long backed by nothing. He's welcome to post all he wants and welcome to reply all I want. You [deleted] all the time also, but you back up with a lot of facts and you have SMU's best interest in mind. I actually agree with a lot that you say because you do back it up. Do you honestly believe Big Daddy cares about SMU or is a fan? That's my point, show me one post of Big Daddy's that says anything positive about SMU. He's only here spread discent, in my opinion. Since this is an opinion board.

I enjoy rigorous diverse discussion and information. In fact, I wish all message boards would get rid of log-ins because it restricts information. And yes it is quite obvious that BigDaddy is an SMU fan and has a point to make but doesn't always have the background information to back it. He comes from a Players perspective and a Dallas community perspective not a NCAA Regulations, Mustang Club, Rivals Recruiting perspective. If you don't think some of his viewpoints don't accurately reflects the views of many in the Dallas community then perhaps you are the one that needs to get a better grip on things.

You are pretty important! You got me, I am just BIGDADDY spouting off negative puke.

Now, if your dad took you to games in the 70's, you played in the 90's. That was not football, that was survival. This is what I am talking about. We need new blood in here to change this losing mentality and losing tradition. And don't try and make anyone believe you could have played at any SWC school. That is what they all say after the fact. We are all legends in our own minds. My ties to SMU are not important like yours. I am just merely stating my opinion on the opinion board. Like it or not.

What have I posted that I did not back up. I posted we suck. We were 1-11. I posted we could not block, tackle or run the ball. We were 1-11. I posted that we will get the leftovers of the HC positions. Time will tell, and hopefully not too much more time. Everything I post can be backed up. Ask me anything about my post and I will support it. You are just pissed off about the truth.

If you read by post, you would see I said most schools in the SWC, like TCU, Tech, Baylor, Houston & Rice and also OK state and Tulsa not in the SWC. You don't think SMU got players that had offers from those schools back in the late 80's and 90's, than you don't know as much about SMU as you say. I knew I wasn't going to the NFL and I was a fan and wanted a good education. To me going to SMU was a no brainer.

I don't think there were any players at SMU in the late 80's or in the 90's that got OFFERS from any SWC school. If they did and did not take the offer they were incredibly stupid. And if we had that many players on our squad that had offers from any of the SWC schools in the late 80's and in the 90's, we would not be having half the discussions we are having today about how bad we were and are. C'mon 91 you are not talking to one of your frat buddies. Keep it real!
