The President had to cancel a meeting for this morning that has been on his schedule for a couple of weeks now - because "something else" came up.

Greg Brady's line: "Something suddenly came up." Works every time.

So...
Turner's admin assist. is running out to the hallway pay phone to call their PonyFans bros with "breaking news"?? Don't buy it...somebody, I think Insane P P said the last day or two on the baord (plane flight chat, guys running around jumping over bushes, etc.) has been beautiful...I think it is a new low, pretty [deleted]' embarassing. But, whoever said we behaved like a legit D-1 institution, football-wise, that is. Long Live Red.

And how would you know this? Did El Presidente give you a call before the university could notify the media? If "something else" had come up, the radio and internet would be full of "SMU has scheduled a press conference today, where it is expected the school will announce ...."
I call BS here.
"It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses." ... "Hit it."

The only differences are if this was a BCS school, (i) there would have been a reporter at the airport and Ford; and (ii) there would have been more idiots at the airports in the bushes.

I'd say about 92% of what has been spewed out on this coaching charde has been B.S, on PonyFans that is...embarassing. Hoping our new potential coach and or Stallions 5 star recruits are NOT reading this crap, if so, why come here? It's like the Ding Dong patrol around here...Long LIve Chris Rentzel.
