I loved that class, and Pop Rock too. And any class taught by Virginia Currey where you could recommend (and always received) your final grade.

Could you name the 4 Beatles, after taking that class (Pop Rock) ?

I already knew the 4 Beatles so not a fair question for me to answer. But I did learn about Roy Orbison and I picked up some fashion tips, like wearing sweat pants inside out.
I HATE the University of Texas!

I took golf (with Hank Haney), some jazz class where we learned about Chick Corea and the Weather Report, and my favorite, modern electronic technology. Is Milt Gosney still a prof at SMU?

After this and the Lienart senior year filled only with Ballroom Dancing, you have got to respect the Pac-10.

Maybe with this model we could compete, huh Stallion?

What is the problem? He had graduated. Some people want to take some time off after graduation to just relax for a semester. Wait and see what he does during the second semester.

My favorite part of that class was coming up with band names with the name Gosney in the title, such as:

Reo Goswagon
Widespread Gosney
Milt Gosney and the Silver Bullet Band
Grateful Gosney
Fun Lovin' Gosneys
etc.

fondest GOSNEY memory was trying to build a speaker out of a magnet, wire, paper, and a foam soup bowl from Umph-Sauce!!!
