Postby Peruna8891 » Tue Dec 04, 2007 10:34 pm

Sports radio 610 in Houston (and suppossedly ESPN) have confirmed this afternoon that U of H is talking about bringing back Jack Pardee (at age 71).

can it get any stranger than this?

Well, if Houston can bring back Jack Pardee, then we can bring back Ron Meyer.

It worked for FL Atlantic and Schnellenberger, and Pardee is a Houston guy with NFL and College HC experience. Hiring Klingler is about like hiring Craig James. We'll see.

You kind of have a point, but come on....71 years old? I think Joe Gibbs can relate to today's players better than Pardee can.

Bring back Ron Meyer. Even if Meyer is close to 71, he was always down with his players.
