sigh......haven't we moved past this type of speculation by now? I mean, we HAVE progressed to the level of attempting to track candidates on private planes, right? Let's not return to the bush leagues so quickly...

Actually he might confuse the other team. On a recent TV show he said he would like to get back into college coaching. I know he can motivate the players so if all else fails he is an option.

Let's stop all this "we need a coach who can motivate the boys" crap. Motivation is a self-directed thing - somebody cannot do it for you.

If the fire of motivation only lasts a short while we could have sure used it this year in the last 5 minutes of 5 lost games.

I like his paper-tearing routine.

At least give him credit for his college gameday pep talks.

I think a speech problem, arrogance, and a clear bias to Notre Dame and everywhere else he has coached should get him fired from his broadcasting job.

If he brings Sylvester The Cat as his translator, then maybe we can at least use them for comedic value.

Lou gave a motivational speech to Navy just prior to playing ND so he is not all strung out on ND. Then Navy Wins the game.
