Perhaps the 'Pony Up' campaign was blessed by Orsini because he knew that we would be spending a huge amount of money on a new coach. You just know that if we end up with someone like Johnson and pay him a very large sum, there will be plenty of of "Pony Up" headlines in the paper!

i think it was just what we needed to at least spark some interest in the program, and motivate donors knowing a coaching change would be necessary to get us to the next level.

shame it wasnt backed with at least a .500 season, much less a Ft Worth bowl bid!!
