(5) A game after which the Baltimore Ravens don't claim a W was stolen from them;

(4) Isiah Thomas to be fired. Thank goodness Nate Robinson hit that 3-pointer at the buzzer or they would have lost by 48 instead of just by 45 to the Celtics. That would have been embarassing. (This was a tough choice. A hit song for Bobby Brown's ex is high on my list, but this is a matter of urgency);

(3) The University of Texas to lose every football game from this day forward (I pray for this every night anyway);

(2) a private jet. This is really not for me but instead for you who read this board so you can live vicariously through me by tracking my movements;

(1) and, the only thing on this list I am likely to receive, a new football coach for S.M.U. At this point anyone will do, except Mark Mangino (Kansas HC). Nothing against Mangino, it's just a matter of space on Santa's sled.

And (1B): a purple hippo costume. This was originally a wish for a purple hippo, but again just don't think the sled can withstand that kind of force (see (1) above).

And (1C): for an Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences and a Nobel Prize Academy that give awards based on merit and accomplishment, not as substitutes for a lost presidential bid. Sorry, Al, but winning Norway is NOT the same as winning Florida! That, by the way, is true in both football and politics.

Just curious, but when you say "cannon" are you speaking of "ready, aim, fire" cannon or cannon as in "purple hippo in the bushes outside Orsini's house or at the airport snapping photos" cannon?

I will deny this later, but I did root for UT against USC for the title. But other than that, I am generally happy the weekends of UT-OU and UT-A&M
