And I really do hope that TCU busts the BCS, but it would be cool to see them crack the Top8 of the BCS standings, and then LOSE to SMU in November (hopefully that would be an 0-11 SMU that beats TCU), the day after they accept their bid to the MWC.

If I'm not mistaken, I think merely PLAYING the Ponies could knock the little froggies out of the BCS because their strength of schedule will go down by playing us.
Can anyone confirm?

Cool, a post from Chuck Cooperstein.

TCU has played a bunch of below average teams (and barely beaten them) so far and they're high in the rankings, so can it be likely that playing us will hurt them much? Seems that more emphasis is being placed on wins and less emphasis on quality of competition.

Given TCU's already low SOS, playing SMU will not hurt them that much. Their low SOS is already factored into their placement and they are #12.

Ohio St. squeeked through a lot of games last season and they won the national championship.

Of course this all means nothing if TCU loses.
