Plano, the state champion in '65, '67, '71, '77, 1986-87 and '94, dropped to 0-8 and 0-5 in UIL District 9-5A with a 38-3 loss to Richardson Lake Highlands last Friday.
Plano is in the midst of a 10-game skid, the longest losing streak in school history. The 2003 Wildcats have set a number of dubious marks, including the worst start in school history and the most losses in a single season. With another setback, the Wildcats, who have been outscored 59-288, will set the mark for fewest wins in a season. Plano was 2-6 in 1950.
