As far the toads moving to the MWC, let 'em go...I would rather drive to Ruston any day over that ugly campus in Fort Worth. And if that happens, I would just hope the boys at SMU would refuse to put them back on our schedule.

I agree. I hope TCU loses every game left on their schedule. They have some good games left before us. It could happen. I'd take UTEP over TCU too. If they ever got a winning team again they'd bring 45,000 a game. TCU could only dream of bringing 40K. Especially in the MWC. Can't wait to see Wyoming come to FW. That will be a highly rated TV game. UNLV should bring a big crowd too. And maybe Boise and Fresno will join to help TCU with attendance. Froggies if you see this post start complaining about the move. You are ruining your program. On second thought, go right ahead and move.

Why root against TCU?

TCU gives SMU hope for the future.

TCU proves the "doomsayers" wrong.

TCU proves it can be done by a small church school in the Dallas Fort Worth area.

Sure TCU has some arrogant fans, but name a school that does not?

I always pull for TCU except when the play SMU just because I want TCU to keep proving to the administration at SMU and to everyone else that makes up excuses about how a small little church school can't compete.

I hope TCU stays in CUSA if for no other reason than TCU has a Top 15 nationally ranked football team that brings some prestige to the conference SMU will soon be a member of.

Why would an SMU fan hope that TCU departs CUSA and take their Bowl money that they soon will be sharing with SMU?

Why would we hope the prestige and money leave the conference SMU is about to join??

VarsityShop brought intelligence to a topic going in the wrong direction.

TCU hasn't officially announced a move to the MWC and the MWC hasn't publically invited TCU.

As VarsityShop pointed out a successful TCU in the same conference as SMU is good for SMU!

Every SMU fan should hope that TCU remains as strong a football program as they are today and our goal should be to join them so the SMU/TCU rivalry will someday be the showcase event in CUSA. Would be a nice Thursday night lead in to "rivalry week" with the winner solidifying their spot in tha nation's top 25 and moving on to the CUSA championship game.
