Yeah sure....and I got a bridge to sell you

no sir. your arrogant opinions on a fan message board make you the true definition of a loser.

and in response to another one of your complete as.shole comments, you have absolutely no right to criticize anyone who claims to be an smu fan who may not have been a fan for the last 20 years. I know you are completely convinced that you are better than everyone else on here (I mean you went to SMU, and you're a lawyer for christ's sake) - but the people who went to smu in the last 5-10 years are actually much bigger fans than yourself. we have never experienced the highs of being an smu fan, only the lows and yet we still support the team. sure you've "suffered" for 20 years, but you also got to enjoy winning years. Many of the younger smu fans have only experienced losing season after losing season. all i can say is go fuc'k yourself and go mustangs.

The problem with Fran is he won't stay long enough to make a difference at SMU.

Although he would be a "WOW" on ESPN for 1-2 weeks ago, the guy has -0- loyalty to any program and less than -0- integrity. He'D be out the back door the 1st chance he gets.
The problem with Fran is he won't stay long enough to make a difference at sMU. !
...............I don't agree. Fran is in his 60's now and he and his wife have said they want to retire in Texas. One reason he came to A&M in the 1st place. They wanted to come back to Texas.....Now if Kragthorpe was really plan a, than Fran should have been Plan A+ and Fran is about my 15th choice. But I do like Fran better than Krag.,UT's Davis, and the Air Force HC.....I do think other big names will surface in the next few days because of the increased salary amounts.

Pretty sure Fran has already retired in Texas. About 2 weeks ago.

wrong. he would stay long enough to make a difference at smu. he isn't of any value to anyone until he does something again. he'll stay at smu until he does something. then leave. fine. at that point, we're in a diff. situation. get the next guy.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

You're right, allegedly. He was discussed, as he should have been, but never offered.

Right LH..let Fran come in and do what he does...turn a complete pile of dung into a competitive / bowl worthy squad. He did it at New Mex. and tcu, he would do it here. 5-6 years he turns it, we are happy, then we go get our WOW / Drain Pipe hire!
