personally, I like Dirk Koetter. He is the one who brought Boise State to the big-time.

Boise State:
1996 under Pokey Allen: 2-10
1997 under Houston Nutt: 5-6 (first year Boise in Div 1-A)
1998 under Dirk Koetter: 6-5
1999 under Dirk Koetter: 10-3
2000 under Dirk Koetter: 10-2

unfortunately Dirk didn't bring ASU back to the big-time, with a 40-34 record and 4 bowl games (2-2) in 6 years.

But he fits my top priority which is, previous Div 1-A head coaching experience.

Just had lunch with a big Mizzou fan, he said Tiger fans are scared they will lose Christianson.

It got to be Peterson doesn't it?

If Peterson turned down UCLA, what makes you think he would come to SMU?

Money. UCLA pays very low wages. Not saying that we are better than UCLA, but money talks.
