08-Dec-2007 CL60/Q Dallas Love Field (KDAL) Scottsdale (KSDL) 12:12PM CST result unknown (?) n/a

They must be getting smarter than us. Although Gary Barnett's foundation is headquartered in Scottsdale. Anyone know if he lives there now? Could be interviewing him there and a quick chat with JJ on his way back to the islands.

What does "result unknown" mean? (Back To Top)

It means that the estimated arrival time of the flight has passed without FlightAware marking the flight as "arrived." There are the most likely reasons why this happened:
The aircraft left the coverage area of the FAA and FlightAware is no longer receiving updates
The FAA did not send an arrival message for a flight, which is rare.
FlightAware did not receive or lost the arrival message, although this is even more rare.

I think you are on to something:

"Talk about smoke and no fire." Walk into Barnett's Scottsdale home. A white marble buffalo catches your eye. "Gary Barnett:" a label reads, "Above all else, integrity. You have taught us and we have grown."

The buffalo was given to Barnett by his final staff at CU the same month he was fired.

Every one of those coaches has a job.

Barnett still can't get an interview.

You're right, should have looked at that before posting.

Does anyone have access to other flight tracking sites? Just because it is out of Flight Aware doesn't mean it's out of the others.

According to FAA.gov, N7PS is registered to ThunderVolt LLC, a company based out of Scottsdale that manufactures Hybrid Drive systems for transit busses. They could of had a meeting with DART today.

Further digging shows the company is wholly owned by Patrick Smith and Phillips Smith... don't feel like searching the alumni directory tonight.

I didn't see anything that looked like a match for the Smith boys.

There is a venture capital firm named Phillips Smith. Cece Smith is the Managing General Partner.

"Ms. Smith currently serves as a director of Michaels Stores, Inc. and at Brinker International, and is on the Executive Board of the Edwin L. Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University."

Think that could be it? Or do we think there could be a guy out there named Phillips?

"SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Aug. 30, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) â€" TASER International, Inc. (Nasdaq:TASR), a market leader in advanced electronic control devices today announced that Chairman Phillips W. Smith will retire from the Board of Directors effective at the conclusion of the company’s board meeting on October 23, 2006. At that time, Thomas P. Smith will become the new Chairman of the Board and Kathleen C. Hanrahan will be promoted to President. "

In a related filing:

"The Company (Taser Intl) charters aircraft for business travel from Four Futures Corporation and Thundervolt, LLC., which are wholly-owned by Thomas P. Smith, President of the Company, and Patrick W. Smith, Chief Executive Officer of the Company and Phillips W. Smith, Chairman of the Company’s Board, respectively. "

If you look up the bios of the Smith boys (except haven't found a bio on Phillips yet), you see Harvard, Univ of Chicago, Arizona, few others but nothing close to SMU.

As they say in the oil bidness, looks like we hit a dry hole.

(And don't even think about saying what's you're thinking about saying)

Can't connect SMU with the Smith brothers, Thundervolt or Taser on Google. Apparently the Bush Library story and the "Don't Tase Me Bro" story broke about the same time, and there are too many news articles to pare down the search. Guess we struck out on that one!

Anyway, there were a bunch of Love Field to Scottsdale flights this week. Just couldn't think of who would be in Scottsdale--especially since Gary B wasn't on the radar anymore at that point.

Check Hanrahan...I went to school with a Hanrahan (if spelled same?). His uncle was a trustee from the midwest before passing away in the 90s.

Can't seem to connect it with Kathleen C. Hanrahan at Thundervolt though.
