Not coming to Dallas. Has had DC jobs in the NFL with Buffalo and maybe some other team. His reputation is up and coming in the NFL not college.

Washington played Thursday Nite so there is a window for a possible interview. I wouldn't put this totally out of the realm of possibilities if that plane is in Washington.

Probably taking care of some Ford business that has nothing to do with SMU. Ford has made that trip already and wasted precious jet fuel. It aint happening again unless it is a sure thing. Orsini better gas up the charter. Whoever is chasing the plane today is chasing a ghost!

Stallion I talked to Jerry probably 2 weeks ago. See we are from the same area. He is from Lubbock and I am from Snyder. They beat us in 1979 Bi-District Championship game. He later played with my cousing Tony Degrate at UT. I am very familiar with Jerry and several other coaches across this nation. Jerry aint coming here. If he does, it would have to be for 2mil a year and full run of the program. He is not gonna stand by and let the grand dragon Turner ruin his career.

Hey didn't someone say that Eric Dickerson was assisting Orsini with the search? Wasn't Jerry Gray a teammate with Dickerson with the Los Angeles Rams? Hmm. I'm starting to wonder about this.

this would be an interesting hire. BigDaddy, it looks like Grey took a step back in Washington to secondary coach after previously being a DC. Maybe SMU wouldnt be totally out of the question.

Yea we are all about the same age, but the Dickerson assisting Orsini with the search is just a minority inclusion thing. Does not mean [deleted]. Turner is in charge of this deal and Orsini is drawing tiresome of the process.

I realize it would take a huge financial commitment to get Gray-but heck at some point if we are going to complain about the lack of minority coaches we've got to have some minorities take some jobs. I'm kinda of intriqued with Jerry Gray. Certainly better than Chan Gailey. I'm going to pretend he's the guy the plane is for until I see a better explanation of why it is in Washington Dulles Airport. Going out on a limb-a hunch-now let's see if someone saws it off. Check your contacts Kate

Isn't jerry Gray the Horn who made that unbelievable diving play to knock down McIllhenny's pass to the end zone to preserve a 9-7 Texas victory in 1981 at Texas Stadium? Don't know if I could forgive him for that.
