there are three names for the job being "kicked around" .... apparently we are still talking to Bowden, hopefully something positive like his hiring will come of that.

The names next to SMU haven't changed since that page was first posted. It might have been credible at the time and even now it still may be, but nobody has updated that page with any new information since the initial posting.

Bowden will probably end up here. Fran. has as much or more baggage including walking out of the press conference. Davie is clean and worked for ND. Oh well. Remember the CJ connection?

certainly hope we get bowden, i hate fran with a passion ... im from austin, do the math but apparently he can take a program and make them average, more power to him

At this point, I dont care if we get the Grim Reaper's Special Teams coach...lets just hire Bowden or Barnett....stick with a coach whose name starts with B...
