DURHAM, N.C. (AP) -- Former UCLA coach Karl Dorrell was spotted on the Duke campus Monday, while the Blue Devils' search for a coach dragged into its third week.
Dorrell, who was fired last week after the Bruins finished 6-6 this season, was seen in the passenger seat of a convertible near Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Don Yee, Dorrell's Los Angeles-based agent, declined to comment, while athletic director Joe Alleva did not return a telephone message left by The Associated Press.
Wouldn't it be nice to 'spot' someone...anyone!...who's being considered for the SMU coaching job on The Hilltop and have a story hit the AP wire about it!

I was spotted on campus today. I'm not sure if I'm being considered for the head coaching position because Orsini is being so secretive.

Tell them I don't know who the new coach is either and no they can't have my autograph.

This ain't '42 when pro ball players had to work and the meat packing plant in the off-season.

from www.wikipedia.org.
Corso also works a full time job outside of broadcasting for ESPN. He is the director of business development for Dixon Ticonderoga, the company known for its #2 pencils. Corso was hired by the company in 1992, but he holds one particular accomplishment in high regard. In 2001, Corso spearheaded an effort to create a crayon completely out of soybeans.
