Ha! Just got an email from marked "A Holiday Message From SMU" with this link:
http://www.smu.edu/giving/deduction/
Doesn't say anything about donating specifically for the football coach, but funny.
Wonder if FormerSMUFan got one, or if he has been taken off the list?

I don't remember getting this email. I did, however, get a nice X-mas card in the mail from the office of planned giving along with a business card from my regional rep. Nothing says Christmas like "send us a gift". They should have just printed "It's better to give than to receive" as the message.
I HATE the University of Texas!

Thanks Frog, but it costs a little more to take basic math here than in Frogtown

Be nice, Frogie. I read that thread. If the people on the TCU board don't stop we may just buy TCU with that $10MM we raised...and still have $9.5MM for the new coach.

OK, here's a post from the scholars over in FrogTown:
"Everybody donate a penny and soon we will evaporate that $10 mill war chest. It only takes 10 mill donations!"
I know I wasn't a graduate of the renowned Cox School of business, but wouldn't 10 million one-cent donations equal $100,000, not $10 million?
Score one for the value of a TCU degree!
