You left out the 3 witches.
Who is the world's most famous witch - Samantha Stevens
Stevens, Steven, Steve
Must be Steve Spurrier

agreed.
Stop the Bobby Ross talk. He's about 68 and just resigned/retired from Army after 3 seasons.

Isn't Dan McCarney the likely guess fromt he hint? Worked under Fry. Former HC of Iowa State; now D. Line Coach/asst. HC at South Florida.
Why SMU could not hire him today? That is the only reason I would dismiss it.

Bobby Ross is too old, but he's a great coach. He was head man at Maryland and won a slew of ACC championships. Also took the Chargers to the Super Bowl
“When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.â€- Jalen Jones

Hayden Fry=name that inspired character Hayden Fox. John Fox? Or, going back to the Macbeth=a general...Bobby Knight!!
Better still, maybe a play on words. Not McDuff, but....

That would be Oedipus Rex, not Macbeth.

Former Hayden Fry assistants who are or were Head Coaches (not all inclusive probably):
Dan McCarney
Bill Snyder
Barry Alverez
Jim Leavitt
Kirk Ferentz
All three Stoops brothers (aka 3 witch sisters)
Al Everest (played for Fry at SMU)
Jerry Moore
Obviously, McCarney would best fit except I don't know if he has a slutty murderous wife or not.

I don't see why we can't hire "Mac" today, other than we might be still be trying to convince him to come here rather than some other schools. Northern Illinois was the only school that I think was still looking at him. Unless he wants to see if he can get into the BCS system, I think the way should be clear now. I think USF has a game on the 31st, but that shouldn't hinder him from getting hired and being announced somewhere else.

I'd take McCarney. But, I still don't think FtoT knows anything.

Oedipus Rex wanted to f%@# Macbeth's mother?? That Shakespeare was one freaky dude.
wait a second! Maybe FtoT actually ment Oedipus Rex....Rex Ryan! He even had a PB-like train wreck that cost his team the Patriots game. 4th and long, Ravens stuff Brady...but wait...Ryan called timeout (even though only HC is supposed to be able to do so)

Based on the fact (among other things) that this guy can't spell Shakespeare or Macbeth, I call BS!
Even if he does have some info, which I doubt, you guys are reading far too much into it. He obviously has never read Macbeth, so characters are out.
I like the Dan McCarney thought. He would be decent, and I have heard his name mentioned somewhere in connection with this job. (And there was a flight to Tampa one day......) Iowa State is one of the most difficult jobs in the country (just behind Duke, Baylor, Vandy, etc.,) but if we're going after old Big 12 coaches, Barnett was light years ahead of this guy. Bottom line, I wouldn't be upset with him as the coach, but I would be greatly disappointed that we could have taken a Gary Barnett or Terry Bowden over him and didn't. However, I think this is unlikely. He interviewed publicly for the Northern Illinois job, so he would be signed and announced already if he were the man.
