Successful NFL head coach, was Offensive coordinator at OU and UF. Never a college head coach. Again, I'd be happy with him as well. At this point, most would be happy with anything that walked on two legs, or even four legs, or no legs.

This just in...
Broncos coach Mike Shanahan makes it a policy not to comment when his name is tossed out as someone potentially headed to the college ranks. But he did laugh when told of rumors he was going to Michigan. Shanahan just signed an extension through 2011 with Denver and has made it known he wants to be part of the Cutler era. --Denver Post, courtesy of Footballrumormill.com

Again.....this thread was not intended to point to Shanahan for our head coach. Was just watching the game and trying to figure out why he was coaching like a Donkey.
