We are going to hire Todd Dodge on Monday. The dead period will have started and Dodge's son will call all the other NTSU commits and they will switch to SMU. Neither NTSU or anyone else will be able to contact them because of the dead period. Instant recruiting class.
This way NTSU will have a legitimate reason to hate us instead of the made up ones.
It is positively diabolical.
Or maybe I just made it up.
Edit: Cue dramatic chipmunk

Would you take chase daniel? he seems to do ok at 6'! I am all for todd dodge. sign him up. he fits in better with SMU anyways. Just look at southlake, HP, and SMU. they all have the same characteristics: successful, driven, winners... Dodge would be a much better fit the Johnson. His offense would be a good fit for the players we currently have, and his recruiting would be amazing.

i bet i can name more good qb's taller than 6'1 then you can 6'0 or shorter...its all about the odds here. sure, you can win the lottery, but does that mean you spend 40 bucks a week trying to?

Let's just hire Dodge and be done with it...
He would probably be better than any old retread or burnout we are looking at anyway....
Lets for once catch a head coach thats on the rise....instead of one that never was a HC in college or one that is on his way down.
Womack + Wishbone = Heisman
Class of 89

LOL If the home-and-home thing happens, and I come to SMU for law school, I'm so screwed...what would I do? Dress for and root for whichever team is at home?
Maybe I can just decide to support Dodge wherever he is, and let Toddy make my choice for me, heh.
