You say that like you're surprised? I thought I was pretty clear some time ago about how bad these teams were, but here are a few details. Southern's 7 game losing streak includes a loss to Paul Quinn, a 45 point loss to Missouri, a 43 point loss to LSU, a 24 point loss to Houston, and a 19 point blow out by Stephen F. Austin. Their next scheduled [deleted] kicking comes tonight up in Denton.

We're also Alabama State's only Division 1 win. They did beat Paul Quinn, though. ASU lost to our conference mate, Souther Miss, over the weekend, 84-68.

Centenary has been up and down, they did upset Texas Tech, but followed that with a loss at North Dakota State. Interestingly, they will also be in Denton this week, on Thursday.

What is the point of pointing out Southern's record. Yes, it stunk that we blew the opener to them but if you have a way to reverse time and replay that game, that's fine.

Yes, we're better than them but we weren't Nov. 10. Time to move on.

Gee, sorry. I was just surprised when I learned that, that's all.
I'll try to keep my posts limited to only positive nuggets. Will that make you happy, Chairman Mao?

Southern 1-8 now after losing to North Texas, 79-58. UNT's leading scorer, freshman star Josh White, did not play, Dez Willingham started in his place.

It was a rough night for our non-conference opponents, as Houston Baptist was blown out by Creighton, 110-73.

Why am I posting this, instead of just "moving on"? Because I find it amusing to irritate General Von Patton. Eagerly waiting to see his response.

I picked a good year to not worry about RPI.

Try sniffing glue, instead. I've heard that helps.

Our win over TCU is looking better because they beat a red-hot UTA team. So see I'm looking back.

Great, I guess we've found a level of competition you can be comfortable with.

I was going to make a post about looking way, way back, when we used to occasionally play a ranked team in OOC, but there really isnt any point if we're all happy with our new traditional rivals in NAIA.

I think you know as well as anybody else that as this group gets older, the schedule will be better. But based on the crapola start we had, it would appear that Doherty did the right thing by not dogpiling.

I think next year we should have, UCLA, UNC at the AAC, Florida, Michigan State, Butler, PITT, Georgetown and have that easy set up win at Gonzaga.

And you had every reason to believe they were going to win as well so drop your sarcasm bit.

I'm already looking forward to Prairie View A&M.

I'm sure you and XTC are still proponents of a OOC filled with UCLA, USC, North Carolina, Villanova, UConn and So. Illinois.

Still think this team is ready for that type of schedule? You guys crack me up.

Look at the bright side. Our 5-5 record is helping their RPI.

and Baylor is 9-1...its funny how SMU/Baylor are reversed....

SMU loses to SC Upstate at Home
Baylor wins @ South Carolina
SMU will eventually make a bowl and compete in their conference in football
Baylor......well at least I like Art Briles
SMU is close to Highland Park
Baylor is close to East Waco
