Neuheisel expected to get second interview at UCLA

Postby Pony^ » Tue Dec 18, 2007 12:05 pm

Neuheisel's candidacy gained steam recently because of a strong push from boosters and former players. He interviewed Friday, and sources said it went "very well."

One potential mark against Neuheisel was past troubles with the NCAA, which included Colorado going on probation for a number of violations. However, several people close to Neuheisel said he admits he was being too aggressive, and he learned from those missteps.

I know its negative but what do you expect from SMU. You listen to a lot of people on this board and Rick is not worth our time which I understand because I mean what has he done other than win a Rose Bowl.

Come on guys, UCLA does not have the tradition of good old SMU....see, we have Doak Walker so we obviously have higher standards than UCLA....as in recruiting...."we did not want him anyways"

He will go there and he will win. We will hire Frankencoach (Larry Coker) and be void of D1 football in a decade. I love our Athletic Department.
Back off Warchild seriously.

Relax guys. Orsini will not allow his pool of candidates to be limited, remember?

now that i would be okay with, and if he is simply waiting on UCLA to choose, that explains the delay.

I saw Neuheisal picking over the brussels sprouts at Whole Foods on Greenville Avenue yesterday, and he was wearing SMU flip-flops!

I noticed a tall, slender fellow with golden locks getting a haircut in the chair next to me at The Boardroom on Lover's the other day. Had a mock turtleneck on...

I saw Slick Rick at Sherlock's last night throwing down a few "$2 you call it" shots. Then he went and played pool and Golden Tee.
