Enough with the language!

Postby Webmaster » Tue Dec 18, 2007 11:30 pm

PonyFans,

It seems as though the coaching search has brought some new posters on the board, who though agreeing to the terms of using this forum obviously didn't read the fine print.

So let me make one point crystal clear; enough with the foul language. This forum is open to everyone, students, parents, kids... So please, try to keep it clean.

Thanks.

Does that mean that I have to universally ditch the "up yours" emoticon? Or can I reserve for very, very special occasions? (for instance, if Orsini says something along the lines of "interim head coach because we can't find one to take the job at this time")

Thank you Webmaster. I would hope the same would apply to some of the photos being linked or posted.

No, photos of "hot chicks" aren't appreciated. Good to see the Webmaster take a stand on this issue. Maybe I can now let my 12 old start to read this board again.

Hey, guess what?!?
Some of us want this to be an adult oriented board as much as some poeple want their 12-year-old to be able to read it!!!
Kid's time would probably be better spent on some educational sight than the freaking (OOPS! Can I say that?!?) SMU fan website. Not sure what insight a kid's got for a college football team...

Seriously, if you can't take a joke, the [DELETED!!!] off...

A well reasoned and cogent reply.

Well said webmaster. :!:
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

IMHO, there is nothing wrong with using language currently in use on network television. There is nothing wrong with pictures that would be allowed on network television either.

What 12 year old hasn't even seen a hot chick? He never been to the pool or beach?
