Does anyone know if there are SMU teams, mascots, etc. that you can unlock on the EA Sports game? I was wondering if they maybe had the 82 team or something like that, or even Peruna. Let me know if they do. And if you have any shortcuts for getting them unlocked, let me know also. Otherwise, I guess I will keep playing.

I do know that you can play the 1980 ******* Bowl (I omitted the dirty word, I figured the board wouldn't catch that one). The man to really answer this question is abezontar.

I know SMU-BYU (80?, 82?)is one of the "greatest games" under that menu, but not sure if you can eventually get to the team for general play.

If you use BYU to complete a fourth quarter comeback against SMU in the aforementioned 1980 Holiday Bowl, you can unlock both teams for exhibition play. It is probably the toughest challenge to do, but you can put the game on the easiest difficulty level to help you out (adjust difficulty and game sliders for maximum cheating!). Peruna is not in the game, nor is anything else relating to SMU that you can unlock (except for the SMU pennant, but every college has one of those).
