Scored 17 on 1-9 free throw shooting

#2 McClymonds 78, Berkeley 69: The host Warriors (11-0) got 24 points from guard Demario Sims, 17 from center Frank Otis and 10 from post Damon Powell to beat the Yellow Jackets (4-5) for the second time this season.

McClymonds built a huge lead early but got sloppy with the ball in the final three quarters, committing 21 of its 25 turnovers and allowing Berkeley to get back in the game.

Sims added five rebounds and five assists. Powell pulled down nine rebounds and Otis added eight as McClymonds held a 40-30 advantage on the boards.

Berkeley, down 27-10 in the second quarter, cut the deficit to 36-33 early in the third but came no closer. Each team scored 30 points in the fourth quarter.

McClymonds 77, Fairfield 58

OAKLAND — Defenses have been giving Warriors forward Frank Otis all the attention in the world lately and no one is benefiting more than springy 6-foot-5 athlete Damon Powell.

The junior has certainly made a name for himself to begin the new season and Powell continued his momentum, leading the Warriors in scoring once again by notching a team-high 19 points and 10 rebounds to help host Mack (10-0) stay

undefeated.
Otis added 12 points as did point guard William Cherry while fellow guard Demario Simms chipped in with 10 points of his own for the Warriors, who kept a nice cushion by outscoring the Falcons in every quarter.

John Dickson paced all scorers with 20 points while Tevin Hurd added 15 for Fairfield (6-3).
