There was never any question that Dodge would be a great recruiter especially in his first season when he is selling his vision for the future. The real question will be in two seasons if they are still not winning.....

Even you have to admit that upon reading that report something changed with TCU's attitude towards him. Also, why is he continuing to take visits after his second commit already. Bottom line is I am not entirely disappointed he is going to UNT and don't get too excited about that commit.
Kid isn't CB material, at least at TCU.

IF he isn't CB material at TCU, why was he recruited by the Frogs in the first place ? Seems that he became unqualified and non-material when he changed his mind !

He was recruited first as a QB and the coaches mentioned to him on his last visit they would probably move him to WR or safety. He isn't quick enough to play on the corner. He changed after was told this by the coaches (in his own words).

In his own words? Have you talked to him personally? Or are you just trying (weakly) to bolster your ridiculous "he decommited so he must not have been good enough" argument? Reading the article all I see is that he says he felt more comfortable at NT...that could have been based on any number of things.

We need to hire a coach so the NTSU and TCU folks will quit fighting on our board.

I talked to the coaches and DaWaylon, but you can talk to Barry (sorry to beat you down again):
Samuell athlete Cook changes choice to UNT
02:37 AM CST on Friday, December 21, 2007
By BRETT VITO / Denton Record-Chronicle
DENTON – Samuell athlete DaWaylon Cook said Thursday he has switched his oral commitment from TCU to North Texas.
Cook (6-2. 187), who is rated No. 51 on SportsDay's Area Top 100 list, said he is more comfortable with UNT, which recruited him as a cornerback. TCU had recruited Cook as a quarterback, but it was also considering moving him to wide receiver and safety.
Oral commitments are non-binding. The first day recruits in the Class of 2008 can sign a letter of intent is Feb. 6.

THIS JUST IN!!! SMU doesn't have a commitment from a player in the DFW Top 100 that has a single offer from another NCAA Division 1A school.

Word from the Athletic Department is that there are no sounds of concern about recruiting coming from the coaching offices.

Is that because they're empty?

You seem to get so much joy out of posting bad news. I'm glad it makes you so happy. Please convert to a Mean Grean fan.

That's a shame. Maybe some of us should occupy the offices so there will be voices of concern over recruiting.
