article informs aggie fans that Sherman is juggling two jobs right now, and recruiting and assembling a coaching staff is being attended to, along with meeting with the existing players. They already have 24 commits, most in place from Fran. And their worried? We ought to be having a nervous breakdown.

If it is Shula or Koetter, is it really that big of a distraction to pro athletes if you announce it? I don't think so.

Story says Ags recruiting class ranked 10th in the nation right now. All but 1 player, recruited by Fran and his former staff.

The University did the recruiting not Fran. HS athletes in Texas can't stand Fran. He is a smug undesireable.

Weasel though he may be, he has recruited serious talent at Froggy High, Bama, Aggietown .... hell, Cyrus Gray has been quote as saying how much he likes Coach Fran. He makes me want to toss my lunch, but if nothing else, the man can recruit.

the guy is a proven recruiter PERIOD. He also was the best non-BCS recruiter at TCU even minus LT. There is no dispute about Fran's recruiting from either a BCS or non-BCS perspective.

Tcu alumni admit they always liked Coach Fran and he has a great personality when you get to know him. Sure he has left some programs. They got pissed about it, but so what ? Get over getting, who you perceive, as coach nice guy unless you want to continue to loose here. That cannot be 1st. priorty. Fran and Mike Shula would both be good/excellent hires since we are not looking at several others. Both coaches are proven recruiters.
